o46. WildFire Party Videoshoot.

We started the videoshoot at 6am! Driving on the roads had never been more relaxing. There are NO cars on the road at 5.30am, I kid you not. Haha such a rush just speeding along the main roads. :P

Finished our scene with PCGHS talents, then headed off to SXI :)

Choreographed a few scenes here. High school boys are so difficult to work with :P

 

 It was sweltering hot! Stood under the burning sun for an hour plus.

Though I must say all that was worth it.

We finally finished shooting at 5pm, when Gary shouted "That's a wrap!"

o36. Run like the wiiind!

Run For The Nation (RunNat) 2009

Organised by a network in Malaysia, every state has several teams to run throughout the whole state. Penang alone has about 200+ people running, and that morning, there were thousands of other people running with us in other states! I thought it was pretty cool, cause I'm just a sucker for events like these :D I joined the run with WeiSern, Darren, and Pragas as our team manager (because he can't run HAHA jokes :P).

We trained 2 days before, and the muscle aches and sores were still tangible! Not fun, my friends :P

But this is no ordinary marathon/run. The thing is, we have to pray aloud while running, as in pray for the nation and y'know, big things. It was pretty tough, but though hard to believe, the praying made it easier. It was an awesome event, because it shows that youths and young people can do great things for God :)

Thursday
Driving school. Mission trip meeting @ church :]
Overnight @ Kath's. Lots of talking rubbish. Spicy kerabu. HAHA :P Talked & laughed 80% of the time, haha :P Slept at 3am+.

Friday
Woke up @ 5.30am for morning prayer in church. Kath sent me home, but I forgot to bring out my housekeys, so she dropped me at Dad's clinic :] WeiSern came, went to TanMark to get a looksie at some raaad magazines. Pretty stuff :]
Meeting with FOM-ers @ 6pm in McD.
HMI Concert at night! It was packed, and boy did we have a blast ;) So much energy & vibe. How it should be every week ;)

Saturday
Had lunch @ Queens with WeiSern.

Met up with the bestfriendof8years, Belle @ GAP. Catched up with her. Haven't seen her in almost 3 months! Serious torture. Lovelovelove her & all our talksss ;) Gotta have a sleepover with her one of these days! :]]
Education Fair @ PISA! Went to enquire more about my KDU stuff.
SNL @ night. Greaaat service; Pr. Richard from History Makers International (Singapore) was so energetic and radical for missions & God :]
Went for supper @ McD with Cass & Wihandro. Hilarious, we were all so hyper. Had good talks on the way back @ 1-ish :]

Sunday
BM & English service :]
Was invited to the boys' band practice in the afternoon, so splitted up and went to Julian's place in different cars :] Bought lunch @ Khaleel's. Reached Julian's, and he forgot his housekeys (this is becoming a trend nowadays eh, lol) so all 7 of us [Julian, Dominic, Moy, Darren, WeiSern, Cass and I] climbed in through his gate, haha.

They were all just doing their own thing; I was impressed ;) Haha they sound really good together and it was a great fusion :] "LoveLane, LoveLane!" HAHAHA ew :P
So ready to produce an album! Had no idea WeiSern could write such catchy and deep songs ;) ;)
Nicky joined us at the end and gave `em encouragement, positive feedback & advice :]

Monday
Went out with sisters. Dropped Ni @ Dad's clinic for dental appointment.
Went for breakfast.
Home.
Went out with XiaoWen to the education agency. Was attracted to Arts Schools in Singapore. Brilliant projects & designers. Why am I not doing Arts?
Photoshopped till late at night. Driven by inspiration out of the Art School stuff? Mmm :]
Late late supper with XW :]

Yesterday
Went out with XiaoWen to the agency (again).
Passed them the cheque for KDU College :]
Webcammed with PeiWen, eldest sis who's in Perth :]
Laughed so much, it's crazy. Miss her like madddd, grrr >:(
Cooked Maggi Laksa with XiaoWen @ 12am :P I only eat Maggi with Tobasco sauce :D HAHA sounds weird, no? But it's gooood, try it! :]
Talked on the phone till 1-ish; then konked off!

Woke up at 6am, and the driver from the driving school called my house phone at 6:15am and told me he's outside my house. 15 minutes earlier than the time he told me! Needless to say, I didn't take my morning shower and was obviously not in a super cheery mood. To add to the shit feeling I had, some aunty started talking to me loudly in Hokkien. I was just staring blankly at her, and she started talking to me in BM. Everyone was staring like I'm some kinda freak. Grr where is the justice softspoken people when you need them?

Long story short, never -repeat, NEVER- take the driving theory course yourself.

Die.

Went to church for meeting @ 7pm. Was late cause of the traffic jam due to rain, grr :( Discussed about the Sabah mission trip. It's so exciting, really. Can't wait to even pack for it! Haha I'm in charged of Photography, so yay! Pictures time, woots :D At least I know it's something I can really do well at and bless people with :] Mustbring items -- sarong (I've never worn one in my entire life), sleeping bag, 5105123091 plastic bags lol, etc.
It's so terrifying yet I know I will learn a huge load from this trip. Really hope I come back with great testimonies to share and of course, pictures ;)
