Here's wishing all my readers Happy Mommas' Day! I don't think any moms are reading this, except for my mom :DDD Hello mommy :)
We celebrated Mothers' Day @ Edoichi, Island Plaza this year.

The food here is truly spectacular! The pictures themselves are self explanatory ;)

This is the most amazing salad in the world. Okay, one of the most amazing :P

Soft shell crab salad. The dressing, as I quote Belle, is "simply devine".

I quote NiWen after she ate it, "THIS IS HEAVEN OMG" :P

Deep fried salmon with cheese and mayo. There is nothing like it!

It's crispy at some parts :D I really enjoyed this one hee :)

A recommendation from Belle but it really is just mediocre.

I didn't like the sesame in the soba sauce, but maybe that's just me. I just dislike sesame in general.

Squid. Excellent texture, really!

Just like the ones we had in Melbourne :) My dad loved this.

No Mothers' Day post would be complete without a tribute to mothers :)

My mom means the world to me. Truly, without her little comments and cheer-me-ups, I would never have had the strength to take on another life bullet again. My mom is the one who has instilled in me (and my sisters) the power of love, and really proved to us that love conquers all :) You can be the poorest family in the state, but with the abundance of love of a family, truly I think that you are richest there and then :)
My mom is a perfectionist, even to the smallest detail like making sure everything on the dining table is served hot. I, for one, don't care how cold my chicken is, I will still eat it! :P But my mom would never allow that haha! She wants nothing but the best for us (my sisters and I) :]
My mom is one of the funniest people I know, and I'm sure people who know her could not agree more :) She is not afraid of making herself look or sound silly. At the same time, she is the kind of woman whom people treat with love and respect. She is a mom to my sisters and I, even my friends and her friends' kids :)
That is the kind of woman she is, looking out for both family and friends. A mom to all :)

You know how everyone always has that one friend who is quiet, but when they say something, it's (almost) always funny?!
You don't? :( Okay nevermind, cos I do :P

Mon is the kind of person you would love immediately, not because she's such a lovable person/ has a sparkling personality/ etc (I'll get to that later, don't worry Mon haha!) - simply because she's so frgn gorgeous. I don't know about you, but I love gorgeous people! (Edit: After reading that, I realised how stupid I sound, but shut up and read on okay :P)

However, Mon's not the kind of girl who basks in her beauty and utter glory of her golden locks/big brown eyes/flawless face. You wouldn't believe this, as how I wouldn't if you told me, but she doesn't get the clue that she's totally goodlookin :D
No, I know too many girls who go "Naah, I'm not pretty one la. I'm a size 6, so fat right." !@#$%. Mon's modesty is too overwhelming to the point where Carol, Jan, Mei and I get pissed off at her. Sorry Mon :P

She is also on of the funniest person I have ever met. Period. She is a stupid-ideas-and-phrases bank :P Memorable quotes:
"DO you hungry?" Omgsh I nearly fell over laughing when Jan told me this looool.

Mon is the kind of person who will always be on your side, no matter what crap you screwed up. She appreciates the little things in life, and gets over excited over a little post it on her table (or when I drew her school table with chalk. Okay so she wasn't 'excited' about that, but it was funny so yes, worth mentioning :P). She won't be hesitant to throw insults at the person who has hurt you (I know this isn't a plus point, but it is oddly consoling for the vulnerable individual okay! *defensive mode* :P).

She gives terrifying gooooooood (yes even better than coughSerncough :P EDIT: SERN GIVES THE BEST PIGGYBACKS IN THE WORLD. Happy? ILOVEYOU :P) piggybacks! I don't know where she gets all the strength. I even have a video of her giving me a piggyback and running in circles till I get dizzy and fell off :S This woman, is one psycho ass.

HOWEVER, :D this post wouldn't be complete if I didn't embarrass Mon in some way :P

She thinks she's super hardcore. I was going through my albums, and lookie what I found bhahahahha epic :P You think you so cool huh Mon. Huh? HUH?!

So you see, although she treats me like dirt..

I gladly accept her when she comes running back to me.

I've known her for.. a mere 3 months. One of the first few college friends I made :] But still I feel like I've known her for much longer than thaaat! :') She's sucha sweetie, really. I'm gonna miss the way we go super hyper together, having everyday lunch @ college, our group inside jokes ;)
